well i wouldn't go for cost cutting yet. maybe weight saving can be a reason. the e60 m5 and e9x m3 don't have fogs, you think they are cost cutting? all those "holes" are functional.
back on the gsh. if it's really true that they won't bring fsport to gsh here in the US? i don't even know where to start. fail would be too nice of a word already

I really am liking this inside and out, finally I like the GS and they are telling me I have to get the V-6 only.

saving weight? In any case, fogs are useless, and this looks a lot better than with fogs.

Sorry guys but this is how internet rumors start and get spread by Lexus haters. It could not be cost cutting, they redesigned an entire new front bumper for crying out loud. The LFA doesn't have fogs and we know no expense was spared there. There must be some sort of explanation for no fogs, I highly doubt its cost cutting since this car has tons of other tech and things like upgraded brakes, yaw control etc, a new grill, it has LED lights etc etc
I doubt it was for weight saving too. Surely it was simply to keep the front end overly aggressive, which it is (and my least fav part).
If anything we know people will mod it and add fogs, hopefully yellow!

The front of the car is WAY over done, and totally out of character with what are still very conservative lines on the sides and back of the car. Plus that, it is writing a check that it's engine can't cash. Lexus is trying to make the car into a new image maker, but they don't want to **** off the blue haired ladies that Lexus has become famous for catering too. Can't have it both ways. It makes a good case for a Hyundai Genesis R instead.

A TL owner can't call anything overdone
The engine is fine, it still is among fastest in class with also best MPG in class (could it get a power bump, yes, I agree). Lexus has appealed to more than just grey haired FWD buying luxury cars for 2 decades and continues to expand their sport. They should be commended for offering such a package, not insulted. From turbo IS 300s with 800hp to modified hybrids there have been Lexus owners tuned to sport for sometime now.
Bigger brakes, F-sport specific interior/exterior, staggered 19" wheels, yaw control, updated AVS, lowered, this ain't just a bodykit. This is a really good package and early reviews state it drives well.
It also is lighter. especially considering how upgraded it is to the past generation.
I can totally understand not liking the front end but the overall package is pretty good if you want a V-6 and it blows out anything from anyone not BMW.
