I saw this car in person last week. I was sworn to secrecy until the embargo lifts. Will post pics next week.

I remember reading about this car in many of the early test drives from Europe. I think they will be getting GS 250 and GS 450h...?

Europe gets
GS 250
GS 450h
GS 450h F-sport

This would be a great volume car here though if the price was right..BMW has done it for decades offering a very small engine 5 series which adds about tons of units a month here

good point, i think the gs250 can be a good addition too especially given the current economy

The IS250 feels lethargic enough let alone a heavier GS250. Just sad that Lexus didn't bother to give the 4GR-FSE a boost from the D4-S it deserves that's all.

The is250 and new gs250 should weight almost the same... therfore gearing can do a lot, but for a daily car, the engine is above average here in Europe.

Lexus needs to figure out where they are headed. First they wanted to be only hybrid in Britain, and now other countries are following suit. I hope they have given up on that because they should do multiple variations of the same car like the German makes.

Euro mags said GS250 will have 250hp, although I doubt it (230?).

As to the different markets - they all are independent, so for some of them it makes sense to be hybrid only, but if there is no tax incentive, GS450h is going to be way too expensive. We are talking about 100k for GS450h in Europe, easily... vs 5 series and A6 that start at 60k.

Even GS250 is not going to be some crazy seller as people think that V6 engines will spend too much fuel and resale value is nothing.

for Lexus, some GS300h or GS250h would be much better for Europe.

So we should expect a 0-60 times of 12.5 seconds with this one?
