wonderful competition for 535i and 528i... Does anyone know how much of the sales pie those two are?

3:55 minutes into this video Mark Templin says 95% of cars in this segment are not V8s.

Interesting:

Better slalom and skidpad than E60 M5, and slightly edging out the RS4.

Similar to CTS-V and M3:

pretty cool for "just" an sport package.

Whats funny is this is stock...I don't think it has a LSD and with even sticker tires like Super Sports and other mods we are talking about 70mph plus possibly.

Wow, nice to know that.

And he is right, that is a fact but you should still offer it, e[B]specially when they have multiple V-8s to offer[/]B]

Yet they are going with the GS 450h which will only be 10% of GS sales

Going to get a Guinness now

assume exact same driving condition, that would be awesome. although tests were done 4 yrs apart so theoretically a lot of variables

nonetheless i think this is brilliant of what lexus has done

same track and similar temps, so yeah, pretty similar or at least as similar as you will get without it being comparo....

I think best part is that it is only a bit slower than IS-F but a LOT more comfy.

yup, i think that's very important. getting the performance without jeopardizing ride quality too much.

Very impressive! The GS350 FSport has gotten the attention and praise of the 5 Series drivers on the Bimmerfest forum as well.

If you watch the Lexus Media Video Presentation thread I posted...

.. What you are hearing is a new intake with Valve/Baffling system they have created to give the New GS350 an audible pressence from the Intake Department

Kinda sounds like the IS350 motor with an aftermarket intake pipe..

Thanks, as long as it's coming from the car itself
