Lexus Announces Pricing for All-New 2013 GS 350 (no increase!)
#17
Surprisingly, ML stereo is not included in the (almost $6k) Luxury package . I wonder how much that would cost.
I did not find any 'must have' feature in the Luxury package, though Premium package would probably be included in 99% of the 4G GS (can't imagine a Lexus w/o heated and ventilated seats ).

The current 2011 GS stopped production in the summer time...
There will be no 2012 GS sold in the USA Market - I was quoted "Skip Year" by the Chief Engineer
So in the USA Market, it will be launched as a 2013.... In some other markets it will launch as a 2012...

for 50k you can get Nav with Premium package... thats a good deal.
I see some things are missing - like Mark Levinson, or adpative cruise control or night vision.
So I would guess that 55k for fully loaded (sans F-Sport) GS350 with everything you can imagine, is going to be a great freaking deal.
Not sure how F-Sport combines with Luxury package, but overall, car seems like $10k less expensive than 535i. Thats crazy.
I bet GS450h will be expensive, hence the 10% projection :-)

The GS's will be built according to regional demands...
They will build them with different packages and specs (RWD or AWD) where the market sees them best fit for sales.
** See current IS350 RWD / AWD / Luxury Pkg / F-Sport Pkg as an exmaple when you walk into a Lexus dealership.. (in the USA)

Lexus USA really wants to attack the market segment ..!!
I applaud them for crunching the numbers and making it possible to keep the BASE MSRP the same as the outgoing 3rd Gen
Amazing..!!!

The F-Sport Package & Luxry Package can never be combined or built into 1 car.

As I said, $50k for GS350 with Premium + Nav with 12.3" screen... really really well priced.

no, luxury with nav is 57k.... easily 10k less than both A6 and 535xi with comparable equipment.

To keep the pricing in check here in the States...
You won't see to many of these "EXTRA OPTIONS" added on to already well equipped packaged cars, besides the Nav w/ML..

Low starting MSRP is a good thing

I"m confused by some of the responses concerning Audi A6 prices. A well equiped A6 is around $56-57K. There are some expensive options, but it looks to me that if you compare the new GS350 prices with similar equipment it will be very close in price.
Having said that, from what I'm seeing Lexus is being very aggressive on the new GS. But what I really want to see is how it will all pan out in how the option packages and groups get ordered by the dealers. My '10 with ML/Nav, ventilated seats, rear spoiler and a few other things that I don't recall listed for a hair under $51k. I'd like to see the same equipment on a 2013 for no more than around $53-54.
