Default New GS 350 colors

I have a refundable deposit down on a new GS 350. The colors I'm wanting are either Liquid Platinum or Glacier White. In a Lexus news release it mentions that Their engineers have come up with a new paint process which highlights the design of the car. It reads the first color to receive this treatment will be the liquid platinum. I want to know when other colors will get this technology. I would also like to know if it will be hard to duplicate if a repair is needed. No one at Lexus seems to be able to tell me. Comments?

Honestly I dont think any paint shop can duplicate factory paint, I think they probably will try this with other paint colors in there line-up, hard to say though. The liquid platinum catches my eye, compared to previous GS's i've owend. So something has been done.

Metallic colors especially silver, biege and three stage colors like pearl whites are the hardest colors to match. A really good body shop can get close, but it will never be 100% unless you repaint the whole car.
