Why so high?
Well I must say I love the new GS-Fsport. I drove it this week and had lots of time to use the new features. One thing is killing me about it. The tire/fender gap is not Fsport like. It handles good but why is there such a gap? All the pictures of testing showed it to be lowered. All our other Fsport cars are lowered. Even the CT sits nice. Any ideas?

I too assume you must have been looking at an AWD F-Sport. I looked at several 2013 GS350 F-Sport models today at Lexus of Orlando and thougth that the wheel gap looked great. All of our cars down here (so far) are RWD.

Confirmed AWD is not lowered much at all .AWD cars were kept like this for sensations/feedback from the AWD system. RWD is lowered. AWD may get a lowering spring option from Fsport.

More clearance is required with the AWD suspension in the front so there is more wheel well gap. Same as before in the 3GS. In the Eastern region AWD is the build. In the South RWD is the build. "F" Sport components will spread to models like the RX and we saw that already on the CT200h. They are track tested for use in each application and that removes some of the guesswork of modification.
