rear of A6 and A4 make me want to kill myself... j/k of course, but it is some weird sad face at the butt of Audi... much worse than front. And problem with Audi fronts is that you are not looking at it sitting down on the road, like the pics, which do look great. But in real life, you lose a lot of the details because of that.

Whats more important is not just looks but how well the car handles, brakes, and accelerates and does its daily job. Also how reliable it and maintenance cost. We are bashing looks too much that it makes it tiring. All of the cars will appeal to everyone and they all look good. However the GS drives and rides very well better than a base BMW 535i which I had and is similar to the A6. I do like the A6 alot but will get it after 3 years with the TDI engine. My 2006 A8L has 165k miles now and will be used on weekends and it runs smooth and fast and is very reliable.

I had to LOL at the thread title. Who in the hell still uses 56k. Its 2012, not 1995.

GS FTW
Vs the A7 though... I'll take the A7. I'd even consider the A5 sportback 5-door if it wasn't an overseas model only. Basically they stretched the A5 sportback design and came up with the A7. A7 is much higher in price though.

I've got a loaded A6 now. mine has the LED headlights, dynamic cruise, etcetera. The fog lights are integrated into the light group. It has plenty of power. Google maps and searches are great. I've used the wifi a couple times. I have HUD and night vision.
I like the conservative looks. The only downside was the cost. The upgraded sound was $6000. My gas mileage is just over 20 mpg. I've had no problems to date.
I'm looking forward to seeing the interior of the GS. Competition is good.

I love how the A5 looks... it is really great looking car, no question about it, no matter what version.
But I dont think A6 looks anywhere as good in real life as in pics... nor do Audi interiors in general.
