oh, do you have proof? like a comparison test with numbers between a lexus as is, and the one with those cross bar like the 2gs? i can only say about 2gs, i don't know if they went with something else in 3gs or 4gs. but i have been hearing that excuse since 2gs, i am eager to see proof on that
i have same proof as you do. And I have driven many sedans vs hatches in medium class to know the difference in NVH.

Bullocks! Are you trying to say the other marques with fold down rear seats aren't rigid, really you can't be that gullible. Tell us then what is the reason why Lexus decides not to offer manual transmissions in their cars besides the IS250 even though, I am certain many posters here would have loved that option on their IS350's and ISF's despite how great the slush boxes are.You seem to know why Lexus does everything and is always defending as if to say Lexus knows what's best for the consumer.
Conversely, BMW has decided to offer FI motors across their entire lineup with no option for an NA engine. This makes zero sense but then they'll tell the retards who drink the koolaid, that " oh yeah, we're doing it for better MPG's", give me a break. No BMW, it's simply because you're freakin lazy and FI is the cheapest way out, yet your cars still cost a premium and aren't much better in gas consumption than the competition that chooses to stick with an NA motor.

I would guess no manuals because very low number of people buy them. This is Toyota after all, production inefficiencies, etc.

I think it is ridiculous to think that they are cost saving features on 50k car that they offer in their 12k cars. Yaris has split fold seats, so I pretty much doubt it is expensive.

Oh and you're helping how exactly?

Don't you have like eight frankenmods to go work on? [kidding aside: I saw your new trunk opener post...nicely done, excited to see the outcomes.]

waiting on him to convert it to a hybrid and show us how it’s really done lol.

I am curious how noticeable the smaller trunk space of the gsf is to the 350
