Default How much slower AWD 350 than RWD in 1/4 mile

How much slower is AWD F sport 350 than RWD model? AWD feels very heavy on the highway, seems like it struggles a bit...Although, when you punch it hard...It does move.

Lexus site mentions AWD is slower by 0.1 sec to 60mph but doesn't have 1/4 mile times.

It is strange, BMW xi versions usually faster than just RWD version, sp why Lexus ill be slower? Certainly 4 wheels will push a car stronger, and it means faster.

AWD versions can definitely jump off the line quicker as there will be no wheel spin but AWD cars are not faster than RWD versions given both have same motor with same output.

Engine has to work little harder to get all 4 wheels moving instead of just 2.

it is going to be slightly slower but at the same time, a lot more planted when you mash it :-).

Waiting for someone to say that I was looking through the old threads reading different ones thought I would comment on this one, to see how long it took to get a reaction, not long.

Yuck. I remember negative DA days at Atco in the fall. You might pick up another mph with good air.

How were you launching? Did you brake torque the car at all or launch off idle?
