I just test drove today. I do not like dealing with sales reps who are annoying and try to butter meme up with their tricks.
Let me know if you're looking for assistance. I used Lexus of Serramonte to get my 4GS $1k below invoice in March.

haha sorry, I just wanted to know what I'm doing wrong maybe. That's interesting, I didn't know you could do that. They have it shipped to your home? Buying from CA, not being a resident, I presume no sales tax is done, but when you register it in Texas, you'll have to pay the Texas rate when you do?

Thanks faifai83, I appreciate that. I'm definitely looking to get one soon. I want a good deal.

I once bought a Landcruiser from TN and had it shipped to NJ. I saved thousands.

That's got to be THE BEST deal I've seen yet for Texas. Very surprising. Nice job--though I wouldn't count tax savings from a trade-in as total OTD price, but still great deal!

I'm in Southern California (Manhattan Beach) - I've got a fair number of dealers around here, so I want to make them work for my car. Only one so far has been willing to give me pricing and info via email, but I've just started talking to them.

Where can I find actual invoice pricing?

I'd love to know what people think about this offer of theirs.

2013 Lexus GS 350
Nebula Gray/Black Leather
F Sport Package
Mark Levinson Premium Sound
Blind Spot Monitor
Navigation System
Intuitive Park Assist
Cargo Net
Trunk Mat
Wheel Locks
MSRP $57,822

Sale Price $54,871

I'm curious about getting the pre-collision system and the dynamic handling too, but the dealer who emailed me said "those are really rare in this area and might have to be ordered". How will that affect my ability to negotiate the price?

Invoice pricing can be found on Edmunds.com

Dealerships will usually paint a picture that anything that needs to be ordered will be charged a premium...stand your ground and you should be able to get your car at invoice.
