What do you guys think of this:
I did a mass e-mail through edmunds to my local dealers and I was able to get about 4 of 6 dealers to agree to 8% off MSRP + the $1,500 Loyalty rebate (I think that's what it's called). The other 2 agreed to 7% off MSRP, but would be willing to go to 8% if they got something in writing.
I am looking for an F-sport with an MSRP of $56,220
-8% would be $51,722.40
-$1,500 rebate would be $50,222.40
I was able to find one locally that was a 2013 GS F-Sport "6-month personal lease" that has a little under 8,000 miles and they are asking $52K. What would you guys consider a steal on a "used" GS F-Sport? And a fair deal?
Has anybody heard of a "5-month personal lease" before? And I don't think it's considered a demo that would be sold as new because a lien/name was recorded on the carfax.
Any advice is appreciated!

My guess is $55,900 - $56,900 is the lowest they'll go. I'm also looking for a similarly priced car and so far $55,000 is the lowest I could get. One dealer even told me that I won't find a car with MSRP of $60,000 for less than $56,000 and that I should perhaps look at pre-owned or less optioned models.

My new Nebula Gray Cabernet F-sport
I just picked mine up and here is my deal.
Sticker price is 59,017
I did multiple security deposits which was $5200
After getting first lease payment included (new Lexus incentive) and 1500 conquest I paid an additional 1205.40 in tax, title, document, etc. So total at deliver was 6705.40 but I will get 5200 hundred back. I am coming out of a 2010 LS460 and they will be mailing me 9200 back in multiple security deposits.
My remaining payments are $634 a month for 26 months.
I think this was a good deal for NJ.
So far I love this car. Much more fun to drive then the LS460.

Because I wanted two items that you can only get by special ordering the car (HUD and PCS that comes with radar cruise control) I had to special order the car. I was pleased to get it for invoice minus $1500 loyalty rebate. They are a lot tougher to negotiate with when you are ordering over buying one off the lot.
Final numbers;
MSRP - 60,060
Invoice - 55,807 (& amount paid)
After Rebate - 54,307

as a former salesman, mechanic, and later executive at a Lexus dealership, I can tell y'all that invoice is a long, long, way from what the dealership actually paid for the car, so even if the dealership is giving you a price that is "thousands below invoice", don't think for a minute that they are losing any money on the car.
don't think of invoice as having any resemblance to the actual dealer cost of the car, but rather as a quick way to specify about a 6% discount off of MSRP!

See, this is the thing. We know what people are paying in general, and what a good deal is...who really cares what the dealer is making? If I'm getting a deal that I know is the best available in my area through my negotiations...I don't care if they still make $10,000...
If the dealer lets you out the door at your "bottom line price", then it doesn't make financial sense for them to do the deal, whether they're making money or losing money. Its possible to have a deal still make the dealer money and have it still not be worthwhile depending on the current market conditions.

So what I've been seeing on this thread is a max of $6,000 off MSRP for the GS350. Is this correct? I would think that the very end of December might still get good pricing leverage as well as into next year with the redesign pretty much cooled off plus a full inventory of cars. What do you guys think?

IS 250C F Package, trade in 09 Matrix so its $390 a month for 36 months lease

for those posting their deals, could you please include where you bought the car? Seems the Cali folks pay the least but I'm in Dallas and would love to get this car at invoice!
