So drove two gs350 models yesterday: premium (no sport+) and luxury (with sport+ option)

On the premium, turning the dial to Sport sharpens the throttle, transmission shifting is altered, and steering is tightened up. And the display on the screen highlights the powertrain and steering wheel.

On the Luxury, Sport mode only adjusts the throttle/transmission... No steering change. (and only the powertrain is highlighted on the screen). When you go to S+, the steering is tightened and the suspension adjusted.

I drove the sport + mode on a number of roads, bump, on/off ramps, quick lane changes. The only time the difference in suspension was noticeable was rebounding on smooth roads where the non s+ would lightly undulate. And it really helped me come to the conclusion that the premium in the 52k range (with the 18" summer tires) is really the best buy of the bunch. In other words, I don't see the suspension changes in the s+ significant enought to warrant the price hike. AND you get the tighter steering in one twist on the premium which was VERY noticeable.

+1 The biggest turn off in the Luxury for me is the wooden steering wheel...looks like the LS...

I think a wooden steering wheel makes it look like an executive car...BMWs are all non-wooden steering wheels I believe?
