Lexus just needs to build a GS-F PERIOD..Im getting impatient, and the more I see E63's and F10 M5's I get tempted to switch over... I WILL NOT do a V6 or a Hybrid...Lexus needs to stop playing these teaser games and build me a damn car -_-

Sounds good but I think it should have 500hp engine at least, something that makes me happy when I drive and is a reall contester. I agree though it should have come out with the new GS. I can say its in the plans no lie about that, but #'s I doubt at the moment right now.

Hehe but I thought reliability of Jaguar has started to improve once Ford sold a huge percentage of their stake to the Indians (TATA group)???

In fact I'd rather get a Jag first than a BMW imho. (i.e. an XJ L Supersport is no less reliable than say a BMW M5 F10)

price will be around $100,000? Gee...I got GS F now because it is less than IS F and GTR. If that would be the price, rather get GTR.

If the price is around 90-100K, it better be making more than 500HP. Come one, Lexus, make it!

So right. The 63's and now the M5 has made +520hp the norm of the group. If Lexus wants to compete with the regulars (and I think Mr.Toyoda wants to desparately) and considering all the praises the M5 has won, the GS-F had better be f-ing amazing if they were to bother at all.

One thing I'm wondering though, is how they would go about getting +500hp into the GS-F. Despite rumors, I doubt they will use the V10 from the LFA - that would have to come with its own transmission and we'd probably be talking about 100k easily - and Lexus probably knows that although it'd beat the germans at the track, it'd probably not really work as a product.

I'm guessing they're having to resort to forced induction, which is probably why it's all taking so long.

500 is all it needs. It already has a huge weight savings advantage over the M5 and E63

First why does everyone think for 100k people will buy GTR's? GTR is just for speed while a GSF, M5 etc are more than for speed.

People on this form always look at Horsepower but don't realize there's more to HP that makes a car fast and there are a lot of people who can care less if the car is .3 Secs slower. I rather have a .3 Sec Slower car but have all the options, luxury, looks, reliability etc that Lexus gives!

I agree there Henry.
As fast as it is, I have no interest in it.

I'm sure you heard it over and over:

hp-sells the car. It is a bragging right.
torque-wins the race (something like that)
