I was hoping what qualityday noted regarding the motor bing a little funny at ~20mph would be a calibration/software issue and from what you said I think that is most likely the case.
I'm no expert but I think it's something found on all if not most hybrids. I don't see how software can smooth it out. Every hybrid I've driven has this same issue.

If you drive with no shoes it would be magnified.

just my 2 cents.

I also have the full JDM brochure & options lists.

well i am not sure how can every hybrid have the same issue when they are very different hybrids.

what you are probably talking about is the fact that GSh has 2 gear CVT, and sometimes small change be felt when it switches... but i dont see hows that particularly bad feeling when in 6 or 8 speed transmission you feel changes all the time.

I wouldn't call it an issue then, maybe a characteristic of hybrids.

It's common between 15-30mph on just about every Hybrid ive driven.

Hybrid drives different comparing to conventional. I felt the same thing you all said above when testing driving it but after owning a RX450h for about 5k miles I can drive it as smooth as it can be. The instant torque is great and the MPG is even better.
