Prepaid maintenance covers the factory scheduled maintenance whereas when you walk in to the service department, you buy the dealership recommended services which usually includes a lot of superfluous services (e.g. 3k oil changes, brake fluid changes at 10 k etc.)

Houston dealerships seem to include maintenance. Its something like the first 25k miles - usually checking fluids, oil filter changes, etc. Its usually the 55k mile service thats a big one, and the 90k mile service is significant.

I never realized that other Lexus dealerships didn't include the initial maintenance packages.....

This package for free is super nice !
I would change this new car oil at 5k interval even it use long lasting synthetic oil. So cost for compliment service is at least more than $100 buck each time itself !
