Forgot who, but someone in this forum said they got free service at 5k, 10k, 15k, 20k when negotiating terms. Anyone else able to do this?

Depending on what dealership you go to... (Here in CA I'm dealing with KEYES LEXUS) Your salesman can get you complimentary service. (Thank you Sam Santoso) To win my business my salesman threw in factory service free of charge for up to 20,000 miles. See for yourself. I got a 2013 gs350 F-sport on 3/10/12.

For the new GS, the 5k and 10k mile service is free by Lexus (regardless of dealership).
Oil is changed only at 10k mile intervals, so the 5k and 15k mile service is mainly for tire rotation and inspecting fluid levels etc. At the Lexus dealership, I'd expect the 15k and 20k mile service to be significantly more expensive than $10 and $50 - but if you are getting it done elsewhere, yes, that's probably all it is worth.
At the dealership, I'd guess (based on what I paid for my previous car at the Lexus dealership) the 20k mile service to be anywhere from $150 to $200, while the 15k mile service would probably a little cheaper than that (since it doesn't have oil change)

When I DIY it usually leads to bad language, raised blood pressure & tools hurled out of the garage at a low angle. My family, doctor & neighbors prefer if I visit the dealer and stay calm.

when I was buying my car, me SA told me that the prepaid maintenance plans were kind of a crooked move by the dealer, which removes a lot of recommended maintenance from those plans then what you get when you walk in without them...i dont know
