Smart Card Key anyone??

My Prius has that same system, albeit only on the driver's door. Does the GS system also go into "Spastic mode" if you wash the car with the key in your pocket - locking and unlocking the door when water or your sponge hits certain parts of the handle, door, or even other unrelated parts of the frame?

i don't know how the 4gs is, but that's the case on my m3 and s550 as well. so i always put the fob away first

i'm surprised that the card key doesn't come standard with the purchase of the vehicle. although i didn't get a card key when i bought my 3GSh, i did get one when i got my 3RXh.

went to my dealer this morning to parts, was told the car key is available but not for the GS F Sport. told him there is a key card for my car,,,,, he said no. so i left it at that. i told him that the members on CL know more than anyone at the lexus dealerships,,, makes no sense that these idiots don't keep up or are not informed on the cars they are selling, or fixing.

@sydtoosic - I hear ya... When I test drove the car, I ended up correcting the salesman several times about things he said, and also told him about some features that he didn't know about the GS... (things that I learnt here)
I suggested that he should sign up here as a member and read at least once a day or so! (he seemed to be a nice fun person)

One isn't listed for my wifes '08 IS350 either, but they do work. with it... but they will not on the 06-07 IS's...

According to Sewell Lexus parts, the smart key card is not compatible with the 2013 GS.
