Availability in Canada

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if fellow Canadians can share their experiences with availability in Canada. As you may be aware, we get slightly different package options, so I can understand if our availability is a bit different than the rest of the world, particularly as Lexus ramps up production.
Recently my broker got in touch with me and said that my car may not be available until June. At this point, he can't find me a car - even if I am flexible on some of the option packages and colors. Has anyone been experiencing the same? I called a couple of dealerships today to see what they say. I'm also wondering if it's because I'm working through a broker and getting a significantly better deal than going through a dealership.
At this point the broker has priced me at what I believe to be very close to invoice - while the best I have gotten at a dealership is about $1K off.
I've been contemplating buying a car for a good 2 years now, and I finally made my decision 3 weeks ago! And now that I have it in my head that I'm committing to a car - it's killing me that I have to wait. To the point that I'm actually reconsidering the GS350, or getting a car at all this year.

At this point - waiting till June is way too long. I'm going to call some dealerships out in the suburbs and see what they can do.

My personal opinion, if you've been waiting for a great car to purchase for two years...jump at a purchase! You live only once and if you keep the car for many years, the couple of thousand dollars you save averaged over that time is not really significant compared to the happiness of getting a new toy!
OTOH, if you're rethinking getting a GS vs. S5 just over which you can get first, maybe you've not made your final decision yet...

I totally agree with you! But the broker gave me this whole story about how the wait won't be longer (sucker, I fell for it), and I believe he even talked about earmarking a car on the Production line.
