Default 4gs on potholes and bumps.

I'm curious to know how the 4gs compares to the 2gs and 3gs when it comes feel the potholes and bumps on imperfect roads.

Note that recently I replaced a 2gs with a 3GS, and as much as I like to drive it (like it more than the older one) the 3GS feels more the bumps and potholes.

Thanks.

Based on my limited experience (just test driving both).
  1. More of a "thud" feel - the shocks absorb it well
  2. Less body roll
  3. Generally better solid body feel

That's my technical description . It feels much more like a nimble sports sedan (3-series, IS, etc) than the 3GS imo.

Much better shock absorbtion on potholes and speed bumps compared to my 2007 GS350.
High speed, tight turns still kind of give you a floating felling, even more than before.
I guess you can get both things right, at the same time.

Is there a difference in ride over potholes and bumps with the F-sport vs. the non F-sport? I've read some reviews that indicate the F-sport is a fairly harsh ride.

I have F-sport and its no where as fairly harsh over these bumps and potholes. Its smooth.

I would assume that the adaptive suspension on these cars would allow for the best of both worlds

How you guys with the F-sport liking the highway ride feel? Its compliant and has more road feel even on asphalt paved highways in the seat of my F-sport. More so than my older GS. It feels firmer in normal mode but no where as harsh which is good. Do you guys feel more road nuances on highway speeds 70-80 mph? If the road is smooth the car is super smooth. If the highway is grooved or has ripples, I feel it more than my older GS.

Is the "road feel" you described felt mainly/only via the steering wheel?
Hope it's not like a 3GS with run flat tires I once drove, ...it was felt everywhere.

Nothing felt in the steering wheel but in the seat. Its not that bad at all.
