Enform issues
#31
I was having the same problem as the original post but with my 2014 IS FSport. Every time I would turn the car on, I would get the Update is Available/Required notice. When trying to update, it would fail after 2% and I would get the "Update Unsuccessful" note. I was going to give the dealership a call, but decided to try one last time. I tried all or most of the recommendations here and I finally got it to work.
I deleted the iphone app and reinstalled it, setup Pandora and linked all of my apps/accounts in the Lexus app, disconnected my phone from the cars bluetooth (on both ends, i.e. on both my phone and in the cars system, used the delete connection/delete or forget device options (whatever they're called)). I reconnected the bluetooth connection, made sure wifi was turned off on my phone, made sure I was in an area with a strong 3G connection, and then the update was able to complete. What a pain technology can be sometimes! Oh well, it works!

Here is the work-around...sort of.
2. Go to the app screen on your GS.
3. Select Pandora
4. Pandora will load up your channels, and spin up an album and song.
5. You will not hear the song....HERE IS THE WORK-AROUND....
6. CHOOSE FM AS THE RADIO INPUT. LET A STATION COME UP, AND THEN GO BACK TO APP MODE AND THE SONG WILL MAGICALLY START PLAYING.
It's completely ridiculous that Pandora doesn't work through Enform properly. Sometimes you'll have to do what I describe 2-3 times, but it will bring up Pandora, and you will finally get to enjoy your music. The only problem that remains at that point is when you get an incoming phone call, answer it, and Pandora continues to play in the background. Utterly ridiculous.

No. You must not plug your iphone into the USB port. The car will think its an ipod and not play Pandora. You need to use your bluetooth connection and plug the phone into the "cigarette lighter" charger.
