I want to get a license plate frame for my rear plate. I was contemplating on one of these:









Which one do you guys think would go well with Obsidian? I really want to find an F Sport in black chrome but have not had much luck. Have you guys seen better options? TIA ~Tu

^^^The "Car beyond store one" 3rd one down. It matches the style of the "F" emblem on the front fenders.... I.M.O. It's a good choice because thre is no "F" badging on the back of the F-Sport

On a side note. Carbon fiber is a clean look also. (Real carbon fiber whenever possible) If you have other carbon fiber accents it may be a close 2nd.

I would put a black frame on an obsidian. That's just me though, lol.

That's the only black one that I was able to find with the F-Sport logo. I thought it was a little pricey for what it is. I will continue to search and check with my local parts guy to see what they have. The carbon fiber one is growing on me as well.

On a related note - have you guys noticed that when you close the trunk, the license plate frame shudders against the trunk paint? It seems much more than the other cars we've owned.

I had that issue on my earlier car - and I ended up putting a couple of rubber grommets (from my desktop computer case fans) underneath the license plate frame to prevent the vibration.

I haven't noticed that problem with the new GS yet, but if that comes up, I know where the spare grommets are
