Default It's kinda weird of me to say this....

You will have to expect some similarites, but in comparison the 2013 GS350 costs twice as much. In regards; one would expect twice the quality and craftsmanship.

Just thought I'd chime in on this one

You could argue that Nissan had the spindle-like grill before Lexus. Look at last year's Nissans and you will see something similar to the new Altima. They have just made it more pronounced on the new Altima.

Unfortunately, if that's the case, then I guess Hyundai should be flattered. Tell me the GS didn't rip off the rear end of the Sonata (Of all cars..)

They may look some what similar, but if you look at the details, it is not hard to see the differences between a $30K car vs. a $60K car.

(Am I snobby or not?)

Car design actually "converges".
So if you think about it, you'll find that all manufacturers cheat off each one another...

Just like the integrated LS/GS exhaust tips, turn signals on the mirrors, LED DRL....etc.

Actually that silly Hyundai comparison is b.s b/c the GS is an evolution of the LS/IS lights especially the LS since it gains the L shaped LEDs.

Lexus and others cannot help it that Hyundai copies every brand and blends it into their vehicles.

Uh, I understand in regards to the L shaped LEDs, but almost the entire rear end resembles the Sonata, and the Sonata's been out a couple of years now.

Yes, Hyundai copies and blends, but this time the Sonata came out first. So you are arguing that Hyundai somehow blends together a design that coincidentally became the GS's rear end? That's a terrible argument, no? Lexus should have been smarter to tweak the design just enough so it didn't look like the Sonata. Just my 2 cents.

Yep. Basically LS rear -----> 4th Gen GS rear.

Just so happened Hyundai also copied the LS rear treatment.
