Hey Tony,

I have some friends in the GTA who track - but I am not one of them. Brought it up with my wife when I got my beater Civic a year ago, and she said "No." The look in her eyes said the rest.

My buddy takes his S2000 there all the time I think.

I won't be taken my GS out. It would be nice to do, but my wife won't even let me ride shotgun with my buddy.

I used to track my old TT before I traded her in. In fact, she was built to track. This GS is too nice for me to bring it on the track. For the time being, I kinda enjoy the ever so often spirited drive.

Yeah, it is like asking a bikini model to change tire.

In the near future, I expect Lexus to release more F-Sport parts to improve performance eg aftermarket sway bars, chassis braces, even larger brake kits etc.

Have fun man! Can't wait to hear your insights as well as see your pics and videos of the car in action. It's good to hear that you are driving the car as it was meant to be

I feel the GS F Sport is better composed with higher HP than my Lotus Esprit S4, which I took it to rack days from times to times. I think it will be a great track car.

However, it is so new and so sweet, I am not ready to "max it out" just yet. I will have fun in the near by mountains first and still use my Esprit for track. I think one year later, when the car is not so new anymore, I will then test the full performance potential of the GS FS on a fast track, like Auto Club Speedway.

Tony: You have an AWD, right? Are you taking it with the Turanza All-seasons or did you put on summer tires?
