Default Key in key fob - snug fit?

For the GS owners here, does your mechanical key fit tight in the key fob (without any wiggle room)?
Both my keys are a little loose in the fob (even after the 'click', it can move about 0.5 to 1mm - not side to side, but in/out).
Not a bother in most places, but while walking in a quiet office, it is definitely audible.

Does everybody's key fit perfectly in the fob without any wiggle room? (if you hold your key fob and shake it even slightly, do you hear the mechanical key moving?)

Me too!

I'm trying to get a separate key and use the credit card key in my wallet!

Maybe I should just remove the mechanical key (unless I'm going to a place where they offer valet parking). The key in the wallet would be a safer option though.
