Default Lexus Owner's Clinic..

Has anyone been to the Owner's Clinic? Received an invitation and wondering it will be a waste of time.

never heard of it unless it's called something else. sounds like a waste of time unless they're giving away swag.

Back in 2000 I was invited to one after buying a Cadillac STS... they basically had a slideshow telling you how great your car was and how great you were for buying one lol

Then they took the group back to the service bay to show us how to add washer fluid and check tire pressure (before TPMS) and asked the group if anyone had any specific questions about their car, settings of functions. I did not fit into this demographic at age 27... I was the youngest person there, including employees.

It was an hour of my life and the 50 cents worth of gas I will never get back...

If my current dealer offered this and I went it would take 1.5 hours each way plus probably an hour there (4 hours) and about $28 in gas... yea I'll pass. Thankfully my dealer has pickup and delivery (on a flatbed truck) with loaner for even basic routine maintenance within a 100 mile radius, score!

Well, the invitation says they will provide valuable tips on CD player, NAV, brakes, air bags, maintenance and more. But I already read the entire owner's manual.

Since my local dealer isn't far from my house, I might go there just for the refreshments and provide some feedbacks for the improvements that I want to see.

Most of it is just basics, but some dealers go a step further and really divulge with 2nd classes for things such as Enform App Suite etc, Naviagtion etc..
