I'm up in Flower Mound (north of the airport) in DFW... let me know if you want to come by and check out the car! Strangely enough, I admit the GS "riviera red" was one of the things that sold me on this car. I test drove several others, including Infiniti and Acura. My old car was an Infiniti G35, but the newest Infiniti red is a bright cherry red that is a little too flat/bright for me to like. The Acura dealer claimed the only colors I could get a TL in were black, silver, and grey, which all seemed really boring to me. The sparkly luminescent deep red of the GS was a big motivating factor in getting me to pick this car, and I'm really glad it worked out that way, since it's a fantastic car.

On the window tint, it was done by the dealer (Park Place Lexus of Grapevine, who I give high marks to), and is the legal limit in Texas. I believe that's something like 25% on the front windows, and 30% on the rear windows. I think it must be darker than some states, since I moved to North Carolina for a couple years back around 2000 and I remember having to have the dark TX legal tint removed to put on a tint legal in NC.

 

Congrats on your beautiful car! I'm up in Denton, not too far from FM. I need to stop over sometime to check out your heads up display as well as listen to the ML system. My car did not come with those options and I never had a chance to try them out. We need to get together for a photoshoot or something sometime. I'll bring by my good camera
