Default New GS Order

I would like to thank all members of this forum for your thoughtful discussions. I have been reading many posts, test driving several cars - 13 GS cars - GS350 RWD, AWD, F-sport and GS450 hybrid. I have a CT hybrid and even though the car is great, but my left knee had two surgeries within the year and can't find a comfortable position despite moving the seat all the way back. I had the car for about three months before the first surgery and it took me several weeks to get comfortable. After the second surgery, has been agony.

I have a lease and has another two years to go.

I placed a deposit on a 13 GS350 AWD - liquid platinum with light gray interior that I loved with all of the options that I wanted and needed. I also went to several dealers to get a good price. Now comes the hard part, breaking the CT lease without too much pain. I know that there is negative equity. It is time for the finance people to swing the deal.

If I can swing the deal, I will post pictures.

There are web sites where you can list your car for someone to takeover the lease.

Agree with zoombie. Swapalease.com as a bunch of listings for people to take over leases. Yes you might have to offer some sort of incentive etc, but it's probably better than trying to break it in the standard fashion of buying it out and trading it in with the negative equity.

Odd, if you placed the deposit, didn't lose your bargaining position with the dealer on your lease?

I misstated. I know what the buyout is and am negotiating with the bank to get the best rate for the car. I think I will lease, easier for me to deal with a business expense, but am looking at all the options.

Well after much frustration, going from dealer to dealer; I finally got the deal I wanted. Lease swap without any money lost. They had to use conquest monies (glad I have an Audi) to make the deal. It was my closest, local dealer which gave me the deal I wanted. Instead a 15,000/36M, I went for a 12,000/36M lease.

Here a couple of pictures that I snapped after I picked up my new drive.

Congrats! I love my Liquid Platinum, and it will pleasantly surprise you as the tone changes at various times of the day. Also, I was originally looking at a Nebula Gray with luxury package, and light grey interior would have been my choice. Great combo. Enjoy!
