I had to wait 30 days until it arrived from Germany but it was well worth it. So far the BMW GT has been great....no complaints. On another note, I am annoyed with some of the 4G owners who are complaining about Lexus Enform!!! They must have never tried BMWOnline.....horrible horrible horrible integration. Man I had Lexus Enform working flawlessly with my Droid RAZR.

I think Lexus is doing a pretty good job at their marketing and spreading the words. Within 3 months of release, we see a 4GS with the front end completely wrecked on Ebay. We seen several used 4GS in dealerships and on Ebay. People are certainly buying it whether they like in after or not.
But strangely, I haven't seen any 4GS on the road of Boston and north of Boston. I do see a couple of billboards.

I've only seen 1 4GS on the road (Premium), and I saw another (SP F-Sport) parked in a neighbors drive way (visitor). The local dealership seems to have been selling them, but I haven't seen them. I don't get out much, so maybe that's why.

NickL if the 4G was a smidget bigger AND I purchased the Luxury instead of the F Sport, I would have kept the vehicle. The night of purchase I thought the F Sport was bad @ss, and it still is, but days later I realize the Luxury model was more to my liking. I also like the rear styling which most people tend to hate.

I have yet to see one on the road. The local Lexus store claims they have sold about two dozen.

I've been following your threads. As you know, it was an impulse buy. You read all the marketing and reviews. All the rave but when you actually had it for a couple days, it wasn't that exciting. So much so that you were willing to take a hit in a trade for something your heart desire.
Not too many people willing to admit this kind of costly mistake but you took it with stride.

Lexus claim to give you more and keep the same MSRP as the previous model but it really isn't. There's missing features on the 4GS from the 3GS. I was pretty shock to see that they actually removed the AFS feature on a premium 4GS. You would actually have to go all the way to a Luxury package(a $10K pakacge) to get this feature included. Why?
Then things like missing fog lamps on F-Sport. Smaller brake on AWD F-Sport. This is all the cost cutting they're doing with the 4GS.

When did the Luxury pkg. go to $10,000? It was about $6,000 when I ordered mine.

That's incorrect. It's $5750. $8390 with night view and cold weather pkg. included. Night view is a $2,200 option and cold weather pkg. is $440.

No. The only luxury package I see on the Lexus site is the $8825 luxury package. And AFS is only available in this package.

You need to do more research. My figures are correct.

I might be wrong but that's what I see. Nightview is not even offered. Maybe it's by region. :??:

Try pricing it at Edmunds.com or Cars.com. That might be of some assistance. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I would never thought to go onto cars.com to look at what's the packages is being offered. I thought the car manufacturer site would be the most accurate. This is not the case with Lexus.
I see what you talking about now on Cars.com
