Default Dynamat

I am curious if anyone else notices door rattling when playing music? BTW I do have the ML system if that makes any difference, and I constantly listen to loud electronic music.

But I do notice door rattles with certain bass frequencies, and if i put my knee against the door and apply pressure, it pretty much goes away. Please let me know if you have experienced the same thing.

Also I am assuming that If I dynamated the front doors by the speakers that the rattle would go away. Does anyone have experience with that?

Thanks,
JP

maybe you're playing your music a little too loud? i've used dynamat on previous cars and it worked fine,,, even the music sounded better. if you dynamat the doors... you might as well do the rear deck also. but dynamat does work. have you tried the EQ. turn the bass down a little. or turn it down all the way and play the music. if you don't here the rattle then you know your bass is to high. i have my mids and treble a little higher than my bass. i have no rattles.

In previous cars, I have always turned the Bass as far as it will go. With ML, I have it two notches away from the maximum and it sounds great.

Dynamat is not a bad idea. I think it will improve the overall sound quality too.
