Angry Measuring 0-60 on my F-Sport

Hey guys,

Tried to do 0-60 timings on my lexus gs350 F todaybut with no luck i get around 6.5 seconds
The thing is once i floor the throttle, the traction control starts to engage.
Tried many times with traction off but i get loads of smoke. Slowing me even more

Any suggestions ??

Apart from turning the traction control off, you must also use Normal or even Economy Mode so that upshifts are done further up the RPM range, to get maximum acceleration.
On Sports Mode, the upshifts will be earlier and lower in the RPM range, so your 0-60 mph times won't be as low...

what kind of launching are you doing? What are your steps at takeoff?

You don't have enough power to need a launch control function, just need to know how to do it (if you don't already).

I'm curious to the steps as well. Pretty sure all I would do is floor the acc pedal and let the A/T do the work.

Usually, the 0-60 timings are done in manual mode to enable the car to get to the best/highest RPMs for each gear. Auto usually is slower to 60.

Did it today with the traction off, sport + mode and manual shifting ..
got 5.5 seconds .. seems that the traction control slows it alot ! plus a flat road with no dirt would help with the grip

How many miles do you have on the car before you took it to those pretty extreme limits?

Were you on a public road going 130MPH?

Don't think you could've gotten much more out of that run except maybe the launch. AWD? I couldn't tell if you pre-loaded the launch, didnt seem like it from the rev.

BUT lol it's crazy to run your car that hard with only 65 miles on the odometer. Plus the whole public street thing...

guys the video from youtube is not mine !! it says ''130 mph! Professional international driver on a closed road - do not try this at home.''
I used racelogic today on my gs .. got 5.9 seconds 0-60, 1800 miles on the odo, two passengers in the car and the temperature was around 45 celsius/ 113 F ..
Gonna post a pic of the racelogic screen soon to verify !!
