Default Enform Apps Suite in Canada

I know that, technically, the apps suite isn't available in Canada on the new GS. However, has anyone here up north tried to install the Enform app and see if it enables the apps suite? Just curious if it would work. Thanks.

I'm holding out hope. I didn't give up my sunglasses holder for nothing! But nothing yet here...

Don't hold your breath. The infrastructure is not setup in Canada for enform. Not to mention you would need a subscription to the service. Also the Enform radio that comes on vehicles in regions with Enform have different software that the radio in Canada. Therefore even if Enform became available in Canada it wouldn't be as simple as installing software.

I just went from a 2013 RX450h to an 2014 IS350 AWD FSport loaded and I no longer have the XM Sat Nav Traffic data on Lexus's latest Navigation systems. Why are they dropping capability that cost them nothing in infrastructure? Not sure what Lexus is doing with the Canadian Market and it's Apps offerings, but it's going the wrong way. Do they survey owners?

to further add to the confusion.... when I took delivery of my '13 F sport, I actually had XM Sat Traffic enabled and pulling data. A short week after I lost the functionality.

Hard to believe you can buy a Mazda in Canada and get Apps and data on a basic car and not a Canadian Lexus.

Apps isn't the half of it... my 3rd gen GS had parking assist standard and now if you wanted it you would have to buy the fully loaded GS in Canada to get parking assist. Should have been standard equipment on this car.
