Default Can you use speech commands for “Air Conditioning “ ?

According to my navigation system owners manual you can control, navigation, audio/video, telephone and air conditioning systems with voice control, but I cant seem to get the air conditioning voice command to work, any thoughts?

If you go into the setting under voice command there's a "advance" command that you need to turn "on" and once you do you can use commands like "cooler" and "warmer" etc.

What are some other advance commands that are available through voice? I have not had a chance to read through this section yet.

I just tried, and works as expected. Saying "warmer" or "cooler' adjusts the temp.

Press your Menu button and go to Setup, and then Voice. You'll then see the Voice Settings menu, so go to page 2. You'll see "Expanded Voice Commands" where you can change the setting to ON.

I would like to know what the additional commands would be, so I hope someone posts when found.

Thanks for your help
I don’t seem to have a page 2 on voice settings, it must be another one of these country/region differences.
I didn’t have any problems with my MK3, I may pop down to my dealership tomorrow and see what they say.

There's a list of commands in the manual or if you google it. I'll try to find the link again

Does the GS navi keep giving you instructions every time you use the voice command? I know you can press it one more time to skip it but is there anyway to turn it off?

You can delete your destination through voice command.

What I meant by that is, everytime I press the VC button, it says "Say blah blah blah to do this". You can press the VC button again to interrupt it but it's kind of annoying.

Yes, it does get a little annoying.

I thought the VC in the newer Acura had better response. Hopefully, Lexus fixes this.

You just need to turn voice recognition prompts off. The next time you push the talk button you will see the button on the left side of your screen called "Voice Prompts"; select it to turn off the voice prompts.
