Default Driver Seat setting on exit - What is your GS set at?

I'm currently at partial but I was wondering if this could possibly wear down the motors and eventually need replacing if left at none instead.

Thoughts?

I just find it more comfortable to get right into the seat and into the driving position without it having to slide back up. Also, I remember my brand new Infiniti M45 had the same entry/exit feature, and a couple of weeks into ownership the seat motor went due to a bad board and the seat stayed all the way back. I am only 5'8", so I spent the next few days barely touching the petals and riding around like a gang banger. I guess that still sticks with me.

i find it convenient for the seat to move back when i turn off the car and move forward when started. always used that feature on this and prior cars and never had any problems with it.

Works well in full mode for me. When it stops working, I'll get back to ya.

Another feature I'll have to master.

Mine's set for "none". I don't like the seat moving when it doesn't need to.

I have mine set to partial, I was a bit concerned when it was set to full because of crushing the passenger sitting behind me, so at just over 6feet tall if find partial make it a lot easer to get in and out, plus I enjoy the ride…

It is quite 'dangerous' actually. I am 6' 5" and had a long legged passenger in the back also, slide my seat forward as I get in so they have legroom. We get to where we are going and I switch off the engine ( kids locks are on in the back, so person in back cannot get out until I get out to open the door anyway ). Switching off the engine means my seat then slides all the way back pinning rear passengers legs...this really could hurt someone. Ok I now know about this, but if you dont have someone in the back that often, its very easy to turn off the engine on reflex and forget about it. Should have some sort of sensor to stop this happening if someone is sat behind you.
Easiest thing I have set mine to off....
Not got manual handy....Whats the differance between Partial & full anyway?

I like how the car prepares itself once you fasten the seatbelt. Then by the time I press start and it goes through its self-checks, I'm good to go. I find no delay in having the seat move back fully upon exit. Everyone has their own habits.

I turned mine off because of the lack of space for passengers, more than anything else. That, and at 5' 10", it felt like I was too short for the car when the seat was all the way back (ha!). I was never concerned with the seat motor, but have no issue getting in or out with it turned off. I think I'll leave it off.
Nice feature tho.

I'd like for all of the settings to change based on the remote you use, rather than having to press the button on the door, but found no way to do that.
