First thing that made me pick the new GS was the front design, love the new face of Lexus. The all new 12.3 inch nav screen and the interior design of the car. Also always wanted an car with DRLs and I upgraded from an Mazda 6. So huge upgrade, I'm very satisfied with the performance and the look of the GS. Of course Im going to b doing sum mods on it but gonna keep it more classy. Overall Im very impressed with what Lexus has done and created thru the GS.

I looked at a few cars when I started my search...

Originally I didnt want to spend too much 30s-40s is where I started...

I started at the VW GTI Autobahn --> Used ISF --> BMW 328 -->BMW 335...

I loved how the F30 Looked and after driving the 335 I really wanted one...

However I realized that the way I wanted the 335 configured:

#1 they were not readily available (I am instant gratification kind of person)
#2 fully loaded they are around 58k for a 3 series...

My automatic thoughts were why pay that much when you can get a GS F Sport for around the same cost...

When I was on my hunt for a clean used ISF i had went to serveral lexus dealers and I have seen the GS F Sport in person...

While I loved the car I had thought that it was out of my price range...

But I figured it cant hurt to ask so after talking to some friends at Longo Lexus they worked out some numbers and everything worked out...

PLUS they had my favorite combo in stock SFP and Cab...

And here I am now with my 4GS

I'm a bit of an enthusiast of the Lexus brand, as I'm fond of their reliability track record. My last car was an ES350, but I wanted a more sports-performance car this time around. But, I also wanted a low carbon footprint. I waited for the new GS to come out with the hopes it would deliver, and it did--big time. When the pictures and reviews came out, I reserved an order for the GS450h as soon as I could.

Thanks guys. You've confirmed that I made the right decision in buying a 4GS. I love driving it and make up excuses to take it out. Can't wait for our first road trip to the mountains in the Fall.

By the way, if you missed the following video mentioned elsewhere on this site, you NEED to watch it. There's stuff here that's not in the Owners Manual or sales brouchure. After viewing it, you'll be giving yourself a high-five for being so smart in choosing a 4GS.
