Default Reading messages from Galaxy S3

Anyone bien able to do this? Got the S3 paired with my 2013 GS. It succesfully syncs text messages already on the phone at time of pairing with the car but does not do it with new messages received after pairing or at all with emails. Any help would be appreciated.

Morning. Anyone got insights on this issue? It's been a few weeks and I still can't receive messages once the phone has paired. It transfers existing SMS upon initial pairing but then nothing that is received until the next pairing will show up nor will I get the automatic alert. I've got the latest Galaxy S3. Any help would be appreciated.

I have tried three different phones (all were AT&T) without any luck. When I click on "Messages" in the phone screen it says it's transferring, then after a bit it will say "Transfer failed". When a new message comes in it will not transfer from the phone to the car.

I am looking for a T-mobile Samsung GS3 to see if it has the same issue.

Picked up ES 350 couple of days ago... No text messages with SG3... Lexus tech guy at the dealership said he had issues with SG3...He was going to call CA to find out more.... No issues with my wife's HTC One X... Text messages are read out aloud by the lovely Lexus lady.

Any more information on this. I have a Sprint S3. I can view messages that are on the phone at the time I connect to my GS but new messages do not show up.

I found out that my Motorola Droid Razr Maxx with ICS was transferring texts only if none of them have greater than 100 messages per person. I was accumulating +200 on several people and the car will say message transfer failure . After cleaning them up and limiting the total texts per person messaging the texts transferred flawlessly to the car. See if any of you have too many texts (100 plus or so) between a friend, family, etc and clean it out.

Today a text message came in to my Galaxy S3 (Sprint) and I received a popup alert on my Nav screen and the message was read aloud.

I recently got the OS update from Sprint to 4.1.1 and that seems to do the trick. Old messages and new messages sync and the quick reply from the GS works as well.

Only showing SMS but not email.

After I downgraded my Skyrocket from ICS to Gingerbread, it started working again until I applied the Handcent messaging app and made it the default app. Un-install! Argh.

I have Galaxy S3 international phone with Jelly Bean 4.1.1. The messaging button is greyed out and not selectable. Does that mean my phone is not compatible? Or is there some settings that I need to do to pair the phone with the GS. All my contacts transfer with no issue.

Delete and pair the phone again and now the messaging worked.
