fair price for 4GS with luxury package
I'm looking to purchase a new 2013 GS350 with the luxury package (not f-sport) in the near future and I'm wondering what prices u guys with the same options paid or what would be a reasonable price. Btw I live in southern California.

I am always amazed when people quote Invoice Price rather than the actual numbers. We are looking for a 2013 GS in the Chicago area and I have found the dealers quote an invoice price much more than the ones posted online.
Also some people say they got the car for a fantastic price but forget to tell about the paint protection or other dealer addo-ns that add hundreds or thousands to the dealer profit. Also some dealers low ball you on your trade in and make up for the discount that way.
How about stating the list price of the car, the purchase price breaking out tax, and any other add-ons.
Also if you traded in a car it's usually hard to get an accurate price on the new car.
FYI. In the Chicago area, for a $55907 list GS the dealers hear are pretty firm at not going under $52999

If you are trading in a car a good way to see what they are actually selling you the car for is to keep telling them that you are going to sell your car privately. Once you think you have a dealers best price is to casually throw out "why don't you just give me a price on what my car is worth?"

Thanks. Like I said for a GS Premium with a $55907 list, the Chicago dealers are not going under $52999 (excluding any rebates certificates, etc.) which they say is $200 over cost. But if you look online the Invoice for this car is around $51,500,so if you can believe the Internet prices they are not close to the Internet invoice here.

$51,500 + $900 = $52,400 which is still $600 the $52999.

What was the list price of the car? In the Chicago area, a GS with the Luxury package stickers around $60-$61. Are you saving you purchased a car like this for a total including tax of $52K. It's hard to believe that excluding tax they gave you over 10K off.
