I have it done as well. Works great and they don't cut any wires or anything just install their system into it. Haven't had any problems with it or anything. Totally work the investment and is removable. I think this is the way Lexus is starting to go with this navigation and design. so it will probably be able to be transfer into another Lexus if you decide to get one in a few years

Kit is pretty simple to install, comes with very detailed instructions as well as pictures showing you exactly what to look for. Took me about an hour and a half working slowly. Kit allows you to use your navigation and watch dvd's while driving. No external switches to turn it on and off, it's integrated into factory buttons, to activate it simply push the volume button on the wheel --++, and again to deactivate. Have been using same one on our rx350 for about a year with no problems at all.
