2013 F Sport Headlamps Adjustment
#3
sooooo,,,,, you don't want them pointing down. we have self leveling lights. at night when you start the car the lights go up and then back down if there's sufficient lighting. if you're on a road and a car is in the opposite lane coming towards you the lights level themselves so as not to blind that driver. the lights adjust accordingly. i wish every car had self leveling lights,,, because i've been blinded more than once by other drivers coming towards me.

How to do the adjustments are in the manual. I agree, my low beams do not point out far enough either. I am going to raise mine also. My dealer actually pointed out the adjustment instructions and told me it's best that I do them because I will know exactly how high I want them.
My plan is to have the headlights point up and out a little farther and when I get my fogs, have them cover the close in lighting. I live in out in the burbs where there are sometimes Deer on the road and I need to be able to see them far enough away to be able to make maneuvers if needed, without using my high beams which will blind other drivers.

Each side headlight have two screw to raise it up or down, there are marks on top near each screw hole with U for up or D for down. You will need a long Philips screwdriver to get it done. Make sure you turn both screw on each size with same exact turn.
