I just don't think they are sticking it to us. Every manufacturer charges for navigation updates, and the cost of the Lexus updates has come down.

They are in business to make a profit, you can't expect them to provide things and do things for free.

Who DOES try and stick it to us is the dealer for the install, gotta shop around for that.

I have seen videos where the navigation update slot is behind the audio panel that can be removed. Can I update my 2012 IS350 navigation this way?

Nav software - map update has to been done at the Lexus dealership - had my 2016 CPO done last year 2020 since I travel often - cost me $220 for update and labor - will not update for at least 3 more years.
