Default 4GS 2013 GS350 Personalized Settings list (attached)

Hey folks,

I was getting services today and asked him to turn off the "rear-shade auto down in reverse" and the "seat heater turning off after a period of time" settings. He shared a 4-page document that he said lists all the options that the dealer can turn off. Going through the list, some are options that we can control, and some of the options (seat heater) aren't listed either.

Regardless, I thought I'd share this with you guys. You might want to print it, check it off, and then give to your dealer.

Sorry if this is a repost, I couldn't find it using search and don't recall it being posted before.

Not a problem guys, glad to contribute!

Didn't test the seat heater and didn't ask either. It was a nice day today in Toronto . It's interesting because when I brought up that the seat heater wasn't in the document, he said they probably can't change it. We know this to be false as others have successfully changed the setting.

Off topic a bit, or is this relating to the seat heaters?

I had it in Sport today and tried it out.. seat heaters still turn off. I don't think the eco/normal/sport mode affect things like seat heaters or even AC. Could be wrong though.

Does this mean that only the dealer can turn these off? Or does this mean that there is a menu that controls all of these settings?

Some of the settings you can change, some are dealer only. The list doesn't call them out.

Eureka!! I did it!! Thank you Mehran888 for the attachment with the list of customizable settings. I got my seat belt alarm disabled this morning at the Lexus dealer on my 2013 GS!! They can do it, only they can do it and it is so simply done. I am so happy to stop that annoying buzzer.

So for all those out there that would like to disable it, for whatever reason, know this: it can be done by the dealer on their system that hooks up to the car with a laptop. Its in the warning category. Thanks.
