Default Someone backed in to my GS 350!

An elderly woman decided to back up in the street while I was following her. I believe she was going to park on the side of the road to look through the contents of someone's trash. She claims she did not see my vehicle but I atribute that to the fact that she did not look for it. Unfortunately, I was unable to shift the vehicle in to reverse quickly enough to avoid the collision.

So, how's the F Sport bumper swap work on the non-F Sport models? Are there any special caveats?

that sucks! I paint and I can tell you, rarely is anything perfect like factory. Maybe I am just picky though!

Is your fender dented? Time for the direct f sport bumper swap.

BTW, that bumper can be saved, pop it out with heat in the mean time.

Does anyone know how the JDM F Sport fog light garnish attaches to the bumper cover? Can it be easily installed at a later time?

Sorry to see this. In my experience, with a color like this, the only way to get it to look 99+% perfect will be to blend the paint into the neighboring undamaged panel(s). This is common practice on exotics, but the ins. company may not want to pay for it on a sub-$100k car unless you really fight for it. I had it done this way on my Crystal White LS430, but luckily didn't have to fight for it as the body shop wouldn't do it any other way. Definitely at least make sure the body shop does some spray-outs first before shooting the bumper to get it as close as they can.

Sorry to hear and hope it looks good when fixed.

I do feel like the car is a magnet. I've almost been hit a few times in the past month. I attributed it to the darker earlier evenings... but a couple of the near misses were ridiculous (and in daylight).

damn... another victim of someone else's carelessness. sorry to hear outrage, as you probably know i've had 2 F-Sports hit while parked. yes, get the F-Sport bumper for that Lux GS. and you can have the fogs installed at a later date. it's a simple plug and play. hope everything turns out well for you.
