Picking up a 2013 GS350 AWD
Called up a Lexus dealership yesterday and made a deal on a New GS350 demo. Got a really good deal especially considering that it only has 450 miles on it. White on Black AWD regular package ($55,907 is List). If all goes well I should be picking it up today or Monday. I will post up some pics.
Are there any cold air intakes I can put in? From my understanding there are none because the GS has a factory installed one with a noise generator.
Any engine tunes?
Can I do anything with the car except for cosmetic? (Excluding Supercharging)

As far as I know, there aren't any cold airs for this car yet. That sound generator is just a tube connected to the intake pipe that opens and points the sound toward the cabin. If you did put a cold air on the car it would just delete this part. It looks like a relatively low restriction intake tube from the factory. If it were me, I'd slap a K&N in it and call it a day. As far as engine tunes, like every Lexus, there is basically no engine tune/chip/programmers on the market for our cars. i did see a pretty sweet front lip kit on the recent news section of this forum a few weeks back. it fits the non-F sport GS only, and it looks pretty damn good. Congrats on the new car! You are going to love it! If I could make one suggestion I would spend the time to hook up the App Suite (if you have a smartphone) and use the voice commands inside Bing to search for destinations. It's way faster than typing addresses into the navigation system.

Initial thoughts:
All in all I am very happy! This is my second Lexus. I had the 2003 GS430 and absolutely loved it. This is def a step up. Good job Lexus!

Initial thoughts:
- Way too comfortable I was fighting to stay awake while driving. Feels like I am chillin on my couch.
- Handling is good
- Acceleration is good
- Sound of engine revving is amazing

Its called a Bumper Bully. I live in NYC and NOT ONE person here knows how to park. The way these winners park is, regardless of room, they bump the car in front, then they bump the car in back and then they pull out. Often times as they pull out of the parking space they scrape the corners of your bumper. The last 2 cars that I had my bumpers were scratched on the first day even with this thing. You have to put it out while parked and flip it inside when parked.
I wish I caught these people hitting my car while parking.
