So, I was traveling last week and parked in the remote lot at DFW. Last night, the van driver took me back to the lot. With a bunch of people on the van, he pulled up to the back of my car and said "Camry, er Lexus".
I know the back is pretty generic, but Camry??? Anyway, I got in the car and really enjoyed the beautiful interior and fun drive that I WOULDN'T get in a Camry.![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I guess I will have to park face-out from now on!

yeah D... what Rex said. did you ask what he drives? clearly wasn't a car guy. BTW saw your car today on Liberty ave. in Richmond Hill Queens. they must have returned it to DFW before you got back from your trip. first LP F-Sport i've seen on he street. definitely had to look again because it's not your typical silver color.

People ask me all the time if its the new IS. Then when I tell them it's a GS they ask me why didn't I get an IS.... Are you kidding me? People who arent knowledgeable in cars frustrate me.

Not surprising.
Most people know about the IS as its the most common Lexus sedan and the LS as its the flagship (as well as the ubiquitous RX).
Take this as a mark of a true connoisseur : you're someone who went off the beaten track to get what he appreciated and what was of true value to him (driving enjoyment, reliability and quality) rather than get something unimaginative like a 5 series or E class.
And in this case, it's not a matter of being different for the sake of being different but actually doing your research and deciding according to the facts : The GS is the best handling/driving car in its segment while not ceding an inch to the 5 series in the luxury stakes and being still cheaper to boot.
