Default Mirror tap

Just ordered the mirror tap from blendmount.com -- 9" hope that is good enough -- How hard is the install if I am not a big electrician do it yourself kind of guy?

Here is an excellent write up. I think this guy tapped into the rain sensor instead of the mirror.

With my Corvette, Blendmount sent detailed instructions of how to wire into the mirror power.

Hey i install my blend mount my self it was easy u have to install it on the rain sensor the only problem is the wire is a lil short but it wud reach is just tight but is easy install

How long should this take?? Do you leave the mirror on? If so what position? Can you take a pic of the finished product of the wiring?
