Talking Little Halloween Fun in the GS

My co-worker and I dressed up today for our students. We are both PE teachers, and on our lunch break we broke out a little Nelly. Keep in mind, we both have great sense of humors and do not intend to act like this regularly!

Enjoy! I am the one driving

Well said, I have been working since I was young, saving and saving. Came into the gs with a fully paid car that was just about half of the price I paid, with the trade in. Not everyone has a wife, family etc.

Plus on the side I do paint work

Sorry if it came out as rude, but I just remember that PE teachers in my HS district (which is the highest paid in Illinois) still weren't making all that much, mostly under $40K/year, unless they were also coaching lots of varsity teams, etc. Even then, still well under the avg GS owner income, which is over $160,000/year.

Nexson, I think it's great that you've been able to work hard and get something that you love.

I would be interested to see if the average salary of gs members is in fact 160,000
