Default Trouble Finding a Car with the Options I want - Any Suggestions

I am shopping for the below equipped car. Because I am looking for PCS and HUD I am hitting a wall. I have been calling dealers throughout California and have now make inquires in Nevada and Arizona. It appears Lexus imported few GS 350 RWD cars with those two options.

Any Suggestions? TIA

2013 GS 350
Liquid Platium / Light Gray Leather - Linear Expresso Trim
Premium Package
Luxury Pkg w/heated rear Seats / Cold weather Pkg
Intuitive Park Assist
Lexus HDD Navigation System
Heads Up Display
Pre-Collision System

It may come to that. I sold the 2007 GS 350 with 79645 miles this morning. I thought it would be easy to find the optioned car I wanted in short order..... my bad.

Have you asked any of the dealerships to perform a nationwide search yet? I ran across the same issue in May (trying to find a car with the options I wanted...but I ended up ordering since they couldn't find one in the entire USA).

Well it wasn't like that before. I got my HUD equipped F Sport car straight off the lot. It a good option but I doubt I would suggest anyone order a car and wait three months to get it. To be honest GM does the HUD thing better than Lexus anyway.

My car had to be ordered and my dealership took in my trade and let me drive a GS loaner until my GS came in. Never hurts to ask?

Why do you need Cold weather package in CA?

Many thanks for the suggestions.

It can get cold in CA and it is also nice to have for resale.

I had them look for an AWD GS with the APCS/LDW/BSM (must haves).
There were none on the lots or in the pipeline, other than special orders.

I ordered my car in early August and it's looking like delivery at the end of Nov/first week of Dec, so 3-4 month wait is about right. They tell me that not too many people want (are willing to pay) for that option, so the only way is special order, unless you luck out and somebody cancels their S.O.

Problem with special ordering is that you lose all your bargaining power, IMO.

In the Houston area, for some reason, the include every feature in one of hte packages EXCEPT ML audio. So you can either get the ML audio OR you can get some of the newer features like PCS.

When I asked the dealership about this - they recommended special ordering the car - and it could take 4 to 6 months...

I would say order one but keep an eye out for a special ordered car that the owner backed out on or something.
