Default GS awd question..

Anyone who has the GS awd.....there is a pretty large hump by the driver's side gas pedal that seems to get in the way....does anyone find this uncomfortable? I test drove one today and just wondered if that can be annoying after awhile...seemed like it was in the way...
thanks...

I noticed the bulge for the center differential for the first week or two of ownership. Surprisingly, despite my long legs and thick calfs, I don't actually brush against it all that often. I do believe I only have an inch or so of clearance from the bulge when in the driving position, however. My right leg does not move around while driving as I pivot between the throttle and brake pedals using my heel. I don't have much of a choice on most vehicles due to my size 13 feet. I'd hit bottom of the dashboard with my toes otherwise. If you "float" your foot above the pedals while driving you might want to sit in the vehicle for a period of time to see if the bulge fatigues your right leg.

I don't notice it at all...I actually like to rest my right leg on it!

I thought it was a built in leg rest seeing this is my first AWD vehicle.

LOL...My wife noticed it the second time we took one for a test drive. Since it's not her primary driver she got over it (no pun intended)...me, I use it as a rest. I've never taken the time to look...does the RWD have it as well?

The RWD does not have it....it is for the AWD only..

I have not even noticed it and i am a normal sized guy, 6ft, 187 lbs. What I find akward is a place to comfortably rest my left hand as I drive the car. I drive lefty as I am used to having to shift my other cars. Other than that I truly love my AWD GS 350.
