Weird cause Sewell lists two different PN's and prices for the two cars. And I know that the 3GS 350 and 460 filters do not fit the 450h

Dont let the part numbers confuse you, I found out with the 3GS350/430/300 & 2ISx50 that they shared several parts even if the part #'s show up different many are the same.

If your not certain Darrel at Sewell is a great help with this stuff. With the new GEN GS this may no longer be the case when the new GEN IS comes out.

I have just installed the k&n filter .. the engine seems to breath and sound better .. even driving in Eco mode is more responsive : )

If you want any kind of performance lift,you have to go F-Sport CAI.
The F-Sport piece is like the Joe Z pipe available for IS models for years.I had a IS350 with one installed with a F-Sport A/F.Adds about 5 HP.

I'll be interested in the first intake kit which is actually designed for the 2013 GS 350. What I mean by that is it doesn't leave the Intake Sound Creator which enters the passenger compartment disconnected.

Agreed .. I've gotten used and in fact rather like the sound produced by the intake sound creator .. am camping for any news on new intake kit for 2013 GS ; )

The F-sport pipe doesn't do that? Does the K&N enhance the sound through the passenger compartment? I know on some of my other cars, there are resonators before the airbox, that help to quiet the intake (even my 98 Camry has it) and when I removed it, the car sounded more throatier.

I have seriously contemplated on re-designing my current pipe design for the 2006-2013 Lexus ISx50 Intake to accept the OEM "Sound Creator" piece found on the 2013 GS350….

But in all honestly, I could not justify the extra expenses associated with changing what does not need to be changed... (Performance wise)

I considered the extra 5 Rwhp gained by the pipe, would outweigh any faux sound that was created, from the OEM "Sound Creator"..

Plus, as soon as you add an Exhaust to the mix... Any "Sound Created" in the engine bay would be easily muted out...

The design behind my intake is to have the smoothest possible airflow between the air box and throttle body..
