Cash price, down payment, and money factor are all separate items to be negotiated.

Never blend them all together and negotiate a payment...

He took the car from 59,800 to 54,800

Taxes must be different in Texas because I've now called 3 dealers and all 3 say no way no how can they get close to this deal. They aren't even attempting.....

If it's not a good deal why are they acting like I'm making it up?

And for everyone saying to put ZERO down? Every Lexus Dec. to Rem. has a down payment tied to it.

MF .000783 is 1.8792% APR.

Question is, are your investments able to exceed 1.87% APY?

If so, then finance/lease. If not, pay cash.

I got a lease last night that surpasses any lease I've ever seen. I'll PM you now.

Awesome! Out of curiosity! Why did you lease over finance over paying cash?

I used to buy all of my cars. I just turned 25 and I've owned way too many cars. Makes more sense to lease for me because I drive often, but it's in the city and it's never more than 10,000 miles a year. If you're going to drive A LOT and/or keep it for a long time, definitely worth buying.

I just leased mine tonight! Negotiated the MF down to .0007. Nothing out of pocket, Lexus took care of the first month as part of the December to Remember. Sales price $59,911, negotiated down to $54k flat. Could have done a little better I think, but I'm happy with the deal and wanted to give this salesman the sale.

$700, nothing out of pocket. Lexus covered the first month, taxes and tags wrapped in.

Luxury package so the residual was indeed 57%, the 60% is for the premium car not the luxury car. Confirmed that with two dealers and saw it in writing in the LFS book.

Thanks for all the responses.

Picking up Monday.

4K OOP $530/m and gave me $1550 more than I wanted on my trade in. So a total of 7K off msrp.

Will post pics later.

Thanks again.
