How does your F Sport compare to your old E350 for speed of change in direction? That is, steering response?
Btw, which engine revs more smoothly, and which engine revs more quietly?
Overall, which design do you really like more? The Chrysler Pentastar V6 based engine, or the F Sport?
Yes, the F Sport has less bottom end torque than the E350, but the F Sport also has more top end power than the E350. It's a compromise.
You'll also find that the F Sport has less bottom end torque than a Camry V6 too.
It's all a compromise in design.

To answer your question concerning bottom or end torque. It's the bottom torque daily drivers experience most often not the end. So having a turbo or something with more bottom torque is more appealing by most of us. Unless you live in the 405 and street race.
What I like and dislike in both cars:
- 2014 E350 Sport likes:
- Ride quality/very low noise when driving
- Read end
- Front lower fascia
- Interior trim (black leather, with zebra wood access and lots of beautiful brushed aluminum).
- Brushed aluminum accents
- Sound system
- Automatic trunk opening system and slide out storage.
- Speed when you punch it merging into traffic using Sport mode
- Front drill rotors with MBZ calipers.
- Gas Mileage (I had the ECOM mode in which turned my engine off at stops) around 29MPG
- Looks just a good under the hood than outside.
- Cool daytime running lights.
- Chrome trim on lower front and rear bumpers.
Dislikes:
- Ride quality (does not take turns well)
- Cheap seat materials
- Oil changes over $300 a pop and check-ups just under $600
- Service advisors are inexperienced about MBZs
- Loaners cost $36 when they used to be free
- The looks of other drives give when look over at my MBZ and they think I'm a snob. Even though, BMZ and MBZ's are the most commonly driven car in my neighborhood.
Lane departure system (steering wheel would vibrate all the time)
- Automatic breaking when got to close to cars the darn thing wanted to stop
- Key start (forgot to ask dealer to insert push button start)
- Too many music storage features
- small navy screen but liked the resolution while driving with 3D maps.
2015 GS-350 Fsport likes:
- Front end looks cool but the 2016 looks cooler
- amenities for the price (more cool stuff than my MBZ and $5K less. A MBZ E350 Sport with the P2 package (loaded) will take you close to $68-69K and is equivalent in features as the GS350 $10-11K less.
- ML sound
- Huge NAVI screen
- Automatic connections to Pandora, I heart radio etc.
- Handling
- S and S+ modes
- Color Combination (Atomic Silver with wine red seating)
- Solid feel of the doors when you close them
- Door locking and opening feature
- The smart phone apps along with the car
- 19" tires and gun metal color
- Oil changes and Maintenance is a lot cheaper! Toyota baby!
Dislikes:
- A bit harsher rid than anticipated
- Black shiny interior trim looks too cheap. In fact a lot of the trim is a bit antiquated. I'm glad the 2016s upgraded sport interior colors.
- Navigation maps quality cheap plus only one orientation
- The square mouse usage to navigate features. Almost got in an accident when I drove off the lot just trying to get to a FM radio station.
- Split Navigation screen. Would like to have the option, like the 2016, having a map in full screen.
- Toyota looking from the side.
- Rear end exhaust inserts could of been designed better.
- Gas mileage is terrible. Even in ECO mode and drive slow I'm still getting bad gas mileage. A tank in my MBZ (15GAL) lasts two weeks whereas my GS350 is a tad over a week.
I've only had the car since the first Sunday in December and still figuring out the differences or likes and dislikes.
Funny, I get more compliments about the GS Fsport then with MBZ. I also, get more people trying to race me on the freeway too.

What Velgen wheels do you have on it? Any still shots from the side?
Not sure how a stock GS350 with a lip, wheels and air is riced out? Just a bit lower than a car with coilovers, wheels and a lip. The only thing "ricey" about the car is the front Velgen banner but he may have some sort of relationship with Velgen.

And not everyone is a fan of the window banner but that's a matter of opinion. I just get confused if my car is compared to a civic in regards to being rice, that's all.

FYI, the '15 GS has more than one orientation, including 3D like the MBZ. The option is in the menus.
Other than that, I concur with most everything you said, as we now have both of these cars in the family as well.

After three weeks found how to change orientation. Still not impressed with screen quality plus no touch screen capability.
